Availability Calendar - The availability calendar allows customers to book accommodation and pay deposits at real time, on-line. Consequently, Letters must try to ensure that the calendar reflects the real-time state. You can access your villa's calendar at any time and keep it updated with your reserve dates and manual bookings. By providing a link to your calendar from adverts you have on other web sites, you can allow all bookings to be made interactively. There is a no additional charge from us for this service and we will not poach custom from the other sites. At the very least, you could provide the link to allow your other sites' customers to view your calendar. This is an example of the link you would place on the other sites' advert: http://www.villas-2-rent.com/forms/redirectFromLink.asp?userVilla="The Villa Code We Sent You". Your number was sent to you when you set up your advert and you can copy it from the link on your Villa Advert Editing page. Please go via the Login Page to your Villa Advert Edit Page >>>> <<< go back Part Weeks Although it is much better to have week bookings all starting on the same day, we understand that you might want to take a bookings even if they don't start on the day you prefer. Also, someone might want to book a 10 day spell. You can choose to accept part week bookings or not when you set up your advert. Your Calendar Admin Page will only allow you to enter part weeks if you chose to do so originally. Please get in touch if you wish to change to allow part weeks. Calendar Admin For those who chose not to allow part-week booking, the calendar admin is very straight forward, just try to keep it up to date otherwise people may place bookings when your villa isn't available. Of cause all bookings are provisional, so you can always reject someone's booking by email and return their deposit. For the part-week Calendar Admin, you can show the day the part-week starts, which can either be at the beginning of a holiday period ie Tues>, or at the end of a period ie Tues< . Have a play with it, as we're sure you'll soon get the idea. You can change your calendar as much as you wish. On a subsequent booking on the same part-week, it will show the week completed, as we doubt anyone would want to book just a couple of days. If you do get some odd days, guess you could advertise them as special offers. Uploading Pictures - To reduce the chances of viruses and undesirable images being sent to the Site, plus ensuring that the villa images fit the advert page, we ask you to send your advert images to us by any of the email links. We will ensure that your pictures match your advert requirements. We are not too bothered about the number of pictures, but 3 to 4 should suit must needs. Please use the email you used for your account so we can check you are the correct person. Any problems, or wish to send some pictures, use this email address admin@villas-2-rent.com . Email Confirmation - We need to confirm your email address is accurate, as payments and letting information relies upon it (also helping to prevent bogus advertisers). During the setting up your account, you are sent an email, which gives you a code. That code is then used to give you permission to go through to the form that allows you to set up your advert. If for some reason you failed to complete that process, you can confirm your email address by logging in and then follow the subsequent link to confirm your email address. Any problems, please email us >>> Additional Property - If you want to advertise another property, you need to login and then following the link to confirm your email address again. You can use the code that was originally sent you, or just request the confirmation again. You are then free to set up an additional advert. Removing an Advert - To save mistaken removal of adverts, if you wish to delete an advert, please email us. email us >>> Setting Up a Payment Account - You can quickly set up an account with PayPal and Nochex to accept electronic payments to your email address. This is the quickest and most secure way to receive payments, as payments are sent immediately and your account details remain between you and the "E" banks. A great advantage is that people placing bookings can use Visa, whether or not they have an account with PayPal or Nochex. Just follow the links and set up your account(s). The PayPal charges you will incur are 3.4% + 0.20p per transaction, this rate will reduce with increased sales. Their rates can change from time to time, so for up to date info, please visit their site - http://www.paypal.com . Nochex's charges are slightly less, at 2.6% + 0.20p, but they only accept payments in ŁUK. We are happy with whichever company you choose. |
